I need your opinion on this rifle...?

Sounds like you already have your mind made up on what you think and want. for boar hunting I would want something bigger than a .223 at least a .270. Most the people on Yahoo try to give you a honest answers and between all the answers you get most are hunters with experience. But it sounds you have your own and know, so go for what you think and ignore all the answers you don't like.
